Lovely gift box of two (2) MARGHAB guest towels in
hand and fingertip size in the BUTTERFLY pattern.
Soft butter yellow Irish linen for the fabric with soft
yellow French cotton embroidery floss for the wonderful
Madeiran hand embroidery with sanding stitches and
cutwork on the wings. Front hemline has an insert of
Swiss cotton Margandie with a scalloped top edge ~ what
more could we ask for! Purchased at BULLOCK'S
WILSHIRE, Los Angeles between 1936 and 1965.
Set comes with original box and pinned-on paper
label. Since this set has never been used or washed,
there are some miniscule old age flecks that easily wash
out. Hand measures 21" long x 14" wide and fingertip is
14" long x 8.5" wide and both with
hand stitched side seams.
