This is a most beautiful vintage placemat set by MARGHAB in the TRAILING VINE pattern with eight (8) placemats and eight (8) matching napkins. The 18" x 12" placemats have a center of finest white northern Ireland linen with a double layer border of finest Swiss white cotton margandie with no mitered corners, just hand embroidery. The 17" x 16.5" napkins also have a white linen center with one front corner with a double layer of margandie and vine hand embroidery.  Freshly washed by a well-seasoned French Laundress who was employed for over 53 years by the previous owner who has now moved to Miami for her remaining golden years. Comes in it's original plastic sleeve.
