Wonderful matching set of MARGHAB guest towels in one
of three BUTTERFLY patterns that was purchased at
GEORG JENSEN, Inc. 667 Fifth Avenue, New York 22, N.Y.
The fabric is smooth white IRISH linen, the white and very
light blue cotton embroidery floss is from FRANCE, and the
amazing padded hand embroidery is all MADEIRAN with
some sanding stitches and cutwork in the wings. 
Front edges have an appliqué of Swiss cotton Margandie
with a scalloped top shape. The three (3) hand towels measure 21"
long x 14" wide, the one (1) fingertip towel is 14" long x 9" wide,
all side seams are hand stitched, and all ends are hand embroidered.
This set of four came as one group in their original box and tissue paper.
There is some very slight difference in the color of the blue butterfly.
All in excellent condition with NO problems.
