This is a beautiful vintage placemat set with exceptional Madeiran hand shadow work embroidery on snow white Swiss cotton organdy. The vibrancy of the French cotton flosses for the multi florals makes me believe this set has never been used or washed until I just washed it.
The eight (8) dinner size placemats are 18" long x 12.5" deep. The eight (8) dinner size napkins are 17" x 17" square. The one (1) center runner is 36" long x 17" wide. Absolutely pristine condition since it's spotless, very lightly starched, and perfectly ironed. It was a joy pressing this unbelievable set.
