This is a wonderful vintage double or queen size white PURE IRISH LINEN sheet set with one (1) flat top sheet and two (2) matching pillowcases. The cutwork with buttonhole stitching was embroidered by highly skilled Madeiran needleworkers in white cotton French floss with a BUTTERFLY and FLORAL BASKET pattern. Do notice there's many fancy filling stitches in the butterfly wings and lots of miniscule seed pearl stitches.
The flat top sheet measures 86" wide x 100" long. Your double/standard bed is 54" wide x 78" long and your queen bed is 60" wide x 80" long so this sheet will fit either bed. The two matching pillowcases measure 34" long x 21.5" wide so these will fit your queen or standard pillows with plenty of room.
Freshly washed with Borax to be sparkling clean, very lightly starched since that's the way you like them, and perfectly pressed for immediate use.
FYI: Modern cotton and linen used for clothing and bedding is grown in third-world countries and sprayed with FORMALDEHYDE to keep them 'wrinkle free'. Live a longer, healthier life by wearing and sleeping on vintage fabrics.
