Turkey Red Tablecloth
True Victorian Turkey Red tablecloth with a double damask pattern of ribbons, roses, and peaches. Many turkey red cloths I find here in Maine were made at THE BATES MILLS in Lewiston/Auburn, Maine. Since the border on this cloth has devil-type creatures, I believe it's from Czechoslovakia rather than Maine.
Measures 57" x 52" with a treadle machine stitched border since the stitches are irregular.
This cloth is as near perfect as it gets for it's age. NO holes, NO stains.
