This is a tailored vintage IRISH woven LINEN DOUBLE DAMASK tablecloth with just no frills, no froufrou, just a simple straight pattern with some scrolls, leaf, and a snowflake design that is on top of the table and on the drop sides. Measures a grand 160" (one hundred sixty) long x 70" (seventy) wide. This is wonderful excellent quality weight linen with hand stitched hems on both ends.
Years ago, people often smoked after dinner so to find such a big expanse of fabric with no damage is remarkable. There is one small gray spot that I didn't see before washing, hopefully it will wash away with the next washing ~ see last photo. NO damage, NO repairs, freshly washed to be clean and white.
