This is a wonderful Victorian lady's two piece matching
CAMISOLE and PETTICOAT set. Excellent quality American
cotton muslin a good, sturdy medium weight that was used.
There are many rows of machine stitched tucks with many rows
of handmade KNIT lace. Before I give the measurements,
please remember these ladies wore corsets to achieve their
hour-glass figures. AND we now add gussets to make vintage
clothing bigger to fit our modern shapes.
The camisole is 16" around the neck, 16" around the armhole, 32" around
the bust, 26" around the waist, and 20" from neck to hem.
The 'collar' type attachment with tucks and lace is only
attached at the shoulder line so it lifts up. The petticoat
is 22" around waist, 42" around hips, and is 36" long.
It needs one button for closure and the waistband needs a
stitch to close a 1" separation. You will find this set spotless since
it's freshly washed with NO signs
of wear or tear ~ it's the BEST I can find for you here in Maine.
