This Victorian Parlor
Pillow was an exciting find from a local home here in Maine. Textiles from the
turn-of-the-LAST-century are usually faded, worn, and down right smelly ~ NOT
this treasure. It has been lovingly stored for a century since the colors are
bright and shows NO signs of use or wear. The printed cotton has many
shades of purple and green . . . one terrific mélange of striking
colors. There's a double ruffled row of lavender and khaki green cotton that
does show some fade but you have to lift up the row of lavender to see the
difference. Measures 22" x 22" plus the 4 sides of 2" ruffling. There's a
new soft fiberfill pillow inside but you can easily replace it with a
feather/down of your choice.
