Victorian Pelmet or Wall Hanging
Interesting Victorian Pelmet or wall hanging of a romantic scene with a darling Puti. Completely hand painted on buttercream silk moiré in vibrant colors with relatively very little missing paint for it's age. Two corners are embellished with Italian bobbin lace while the other two corners have clusters of heirloom roses.Tassels are handmade and hand tied on a ribbon that's hand stitched to the moiré. Measures 48" long x 30" deep with no damage and nothing missing.
